My name is Zach Marion, founder and owner of the largest Can-to-Curb trash service along the Jersey Shore. I started this business over four years ago while still in college, after seeing a recurring problem faced by short-term rental owners and property managers: missed collection days and unreliable tenants.
What began as a local solution quickly scaled. Today, more than 500 property owners rely on our service each summer, and the company has grown into a full-time operation spanning over 12 Jersey Shore towns.
As the business expanded, I ran into the same challenge many Can-to-Curb operators face: there was no software built for our industry. Routing tools were generic, scheduling was manual, quality control was impossible, and nothing truly supported the way this business operates. The industry had been overlooked, and it was holding operators back.
